Freshman Year
Log Book Cover
This was the first project of my freshman year. Our log book is used all throughout the year to track our progression in various projects. So, it makes sense that the cover should be something interesting or significant. I chose to draw Kermit because ever since I was young I have liked his character. I also tried to go for something relatively simple because too much noise I feel could make it messy. Overall, I liked the way my cover turned out.
Flip book Cover
This was the second project of my freshman year. Before eventually creating our actual flip book movie we had to make a cover for the movie. We developed a basic idea for our own movie and then drew up many sketches. After multiple new concepts and revisions I decided on Minecraft because it is a nostalgic game from my childhood with many concepts to easily make a story out of. I loved the way my cover turned out and feel that it captures the essence of the flip book movie relatively well.
Flip Book Movie
For this project I worked with Adobe Premiere for the first time. I am generally satisfied with the way the project turned out. However, the way in which I feel that I really benefited from this project was being able to experiment and learn some of the basics of Premiere. Not only did learn about Premiere to do this flip book but also Photoshop. Despite working with Photoshop before hand I was still able to learn more about how to use it. Overall I had a great time with this project and learned a lot.
Logo
All year we'll work on various projects in which we need to have a logo to apply as a trademark identification. I went through many concepts and struggled with finding a nice compact way to represent myself. Not only that but I had to find a way to incorporate my name into this representative image. In the end I decided to represent my love for film making and interactive media itself with a film clapper. I like the way my logo turned out.
IM intro
For this project we were tasked with filming a parody of a famous intro using all of the students in our IM class.
Video Audio Project 1
For this project we were tasked with choosing a song and finding covers of it to mash together smoothly.
Video Audio Project 2
For this project we were tasked with putting covers of a song to match up with the audio of the original song.
Audio Mashup
For this project we were tasked with mashing up multiple songs and adding smooth transitions on a shared word between the songs.
Audio Blend Project
For this project we were tasked with blending together multiple versions of the same song and having them play smoothly simultaneously.
