Virtual Locker
This was our first assignment of the year. The objective was to display our personality and things that we like in a locker. We were provided a base image of a locker and we had to add images to it that represents ourselves.
Career Presentation
My Career Presentation is a project in which i conducted reasearch on a specific career in the interactive media field and then proceeded to display that information in an aesthtically pleaseing manner. This helped with my graphic design and information skills. One thing that I noted from this project was the idea that an image, slideshow, page, etc. should flow together.
Career Promo Video
For this project I was tasked with displaying the information from my presentation in a video form. This allowed me to learn how to express vital information in an engaging and creative way. I went in the direction of relaying the information through a parody movie trailer which helped me work on getting aesthetically pleasing shots and working on linking up those shots with music.
Video Flipbook
For this project I was tasked with creating a story using stop motion and DIY set and characters. I chose to recreate one of my favorite office cold opens. I think it went moderately well. There were a few aspects I could improve on but given the resources i had to work with I think I did good.
Music Video
For this project I had to film and edit a music video for a song of my choice. I struggled with the creative aspect of this video being limited to my home but tried to make up the ground with split screens and pictures in pictures. All in all I think the project came out decent considering the resources I was given.
Covid PSA
For this project we were tasked with putting together a video with three do's and don'ts of covid protocol. I really like this project because although covid is still limiting my resources, the project came with a lot of room to work with.
Jump Out Photoshop
For this project we had to take 2 images (one a person and one an animal) and take the subject out of the background so that they appeared to be popping out. We also added a border and a drop shadow.
Vacation Photoshops
For this project we had to first put a picture of our whole body into a scene and then take a picture of our phase and put it onto a vacation image. This project helped with out photoshop skills of light/shadows and combining images.
Art Ad Photoshop
For this project we had to take an old painting and somehow put a product in it, then include the logo and slogan as if it was an ad for the product. This project helped improve my photoshop skills of combining images and graphic design.
Clone Body and Face
For this project we had to first put multiple versions of our whole body into one frame so it looked like we had clones. Then we took our face and put it on an image of multiple people.
2 in 1 Poster
For this project we took two movies, mash up the title, and then photoshopped the movie posters into one with aspects from both movies.
IM2 Intros
For this project we did the same thing as we did freshman year where using a popular show intro as a blueprint we film an intro using the IM students as characters. This intro was extra challenging due to some people being in person and some people being at home.
